Persuasive writing

Hi, This is what DavOs have been doing for the past term.

We have been working on persuasive writing and we have also looked at Adverts. My piece is why Toroa ( our class ) should be able to have caps. Do you think your class should have caps instead of bucket hats?

Do you think Toroa should have caps?

I think Toroa Should be able to get a school cap because we are more mature than the other classes. Also a lot of the kids fold their bucket hats into caps witch gives them creases and breaks the hats. 

Toroa should get caps because we would wear them more than the bucket hat because we would like the look better than the bucket hat. We would also take care of them more because we like the look  more. Also our aged kids are more used to caps and would take better care of them because we would like them more.

They would also stay on our head better because they snap in place. They are more adjustable so we wouldn’t need to buy a new one when it gets to small. They wouldn’t fall off as easy when you are running because of the snapback. They would be easier to put on because you can make them as loose as you want.

Caps are also better for running because they are tighter on our heads. They are more aerodynamic. We can turn them backwards so we could run better. They are easier for sports when you are running because they stay on better.

I believe that Toroa should be able to have a school cap. So they won’t fall off when we are running. So we won’t put creases in them and because we are more responsible. So finally do you think Toroa should have a cap?

Living in World War 2 was a time of hate,

You’ll get gassed and start dying

If you were a Jew in hiding.

Everywhere you go death is what you will see

What a poor sight for Zelda it would be,

For all the kids this time would be terrifying.

I am understanding more of the stuff I read and I still need to work on using resources around me in maths. I am proud of myself for using more new and interesting words.
